Day 1

This afternoon, we kick off your Tokyo adventure by meeting your group and Adventure Leader for a brief orientation. Get ready to dive straight into the city’s unique blend of tradition and modernity! We begin at Meiji Jingu Shrine, a peaceful oasis tucked into a lush forest in the heart of Tokyo. Stroll along the gravel paths, admire the towering torii gates, and soak in the calming atmosphere of this important Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji. Next, we head to Harajuku, Tokyo’s vibrant fashion and culture hub. Wander the bustling streets, explore quirky boutiques and vintage shops, and indulge in lunch at one of Harajuku’s iconic eateries — from trendy cafés to fresh sushi or hearty ramen, there’s something for every taste. After lunch, it’s time for the world-famous Shibuya Crossing. Watch thousands of people cross from all directions, snap unforgettable photos, and visit the Hachiko Statue, the beloved symbol of loyalty and devotion. Evening is free to continue exploring Shibuya, grab a coffee, or simply soak in the energy of Tokyo before returning to your accommodation.

Day 2

Start your day in Asakusa, one of Tokyo’s most historic districts. Wander along Nakamise-dori, a lively street lined with traditional shops selling souvenirs, snacks, and local crafts. At the end of the street, step into Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, and admire its iconic pagoda and vibrant atmosphere. Next, experience a sumo show, a unique glimpse into Japan’s national sport. Watch the powerful wrestlers in action, learn about sumo traditions, and immerse yourself in this centuries-old Japanese cultural experience. After the excitement of sumo, we head to Akihabara, Tokyo’s legendary “Electric Town.” Explore the neon-lit streets filled with gaming arcades, anime shops, and tech stores. Immerse yourself in Japan’s pop culture, challenge your group to an arcade game, or just take in the energy of this iconic district. Evening is free to enjoy dinner in Akihabara or return to your accommodation to rest before the final day of your Tokyo adventure.

Day 3

On your final day in Tokyo, we start in Ueno, home to a rich collection of cultural and historical treasures. Stroll through Ueno Park, famous for its seasonal cherry blossoms and peaceful walking paths, and explore Ueno’s museums, such as the Tokyo National Museum or the National Museum of Nature and Science, offering fascinating insights into Japan’s history, art, and culture. Afterward, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or street food tasting in the area. Pick up souvenirs, try local treats, or simply soak in the lively atmosphere before the evening. We’ll conclude the tour with a farewell group dinner, enjoying Tokyo’s vibrant culinary scene one last time. Share stories, laugh about the highlights of your trip, and toast to an unforgettable adventure in Japan.
